Summary Explanation of the 7 Levels of Consciousness
Consciousness can be thought of as a spectrum of awareness through which the ind processes its interactions with “reality”. For purposes of facilitating understanding and discussion, that spectrum can be broken down into levels. from each of those levels, consciousness’ focus and scope is quite different. Thus the world, and reality itself, appear quite different when viewed from each of those levels. Research has shown a near universal recognition across cultures who have studied consciousness, in their descriptions of these “milestones” on the road of conscious development. Each person is born operating at the lowest level of consciousness (Instinctual). As they age and mature, their consciousness gradually evolves upward over time. Here is a summary of consciousness broken into 7 levels.
