As the Events and Education coordinator for Unity of Dallas (Church), I was blessed to be introduced to John Smotherman.  He gave me a copy of his book and submitted an application for presenting his workshop: Raising Consciousness, Improving Life.  After reading John’s book, reviewing his application and chatting over the phone with him, it was quite apparent that the quality of John’s presentation was such that he had to be included on our summer agenda!  I personally attended the 4 week class and can attest to the fact that the information, meditation support and the lively discussion that we experienced was most useful, practical and beneficial.  Our congregants enjoyed not only the class, but John himself.  His presentation style was accessible and loving.  He presented this valuable information in progressively more complex “bites” each week and participants were sorry to come to the end of the four weeks.  Raising Consciousness, Improving Life, has something to meet every truth students level of study.
